working principle of centrifugal pump 

centrifugal pumps are used to induce flow or raise pressure of a liquid the pump has casing filled with water inside the casing there is an impeller which has a series of a curved vanes the impeller when rotates the fluid surrounding it also rotate the centrifugal forces is imparted to the water parties and the water radially moves out into a diffuser or volute chamber where the velocity of water is decrease and pressure is increased so at the discharge side but the pressure and kinetic energy of the water will rise as the water is getting displaced so as a negative pressure will be induced at the eye of impellee and this  negative pressure help to suck fresh water into the system again and this process continue
